TSUNAMI



Today the sea seemed nearer,
And the waves angrier,
As the chill wind slapped my face,
The grey clouds hovered around,
A quiver shook my soul.
Forebodings of a tsunami?

I think it all depends upon the internal situation of the mind that reflects upon our thoughts when we observe the sea.
In a happy state of mind even a thunder storm with lightening appears beautiful. An angry sea with high waves and ominous clouds in the sky also evokes thoughts of natures beauty. I cannot but admire the beauty of the vastness of the sea!
Yet in a mind which is unhappy even the calm waters of the lake make me shudder sometimes!
