A MATTER OF LIVING

A MATTER OF LIVING

You have your beliefs,
I have my doubts,
You live your life,
As on a leash,
I live mine,
Unbound and free.

You live your life,
In yester years,
Waiting for the coming tide,
And the hand of destiny,
While I live my life
Every moment an eternity.

You have your chores,
I have my dreams,
You settle down,
To mop the floor,
While I spread my wings,
And fly away.
