THE REDWOOD TREE



In the shade
of the redwood tree,
I stood, a fly,
In time and space,
Insignificant.

The comparison couldn't be more apt- 'a fly'. We are 'insignificant' before it.
And the use of a Haiku itself is interesting - in three lines with limited words, to describes a tree of such gigantic proportion- almost limitless.
