Is this publisher who has approved your ma...Subbu,<br /><br />Is this publisher who has approved your manuscript a reputed one? I suppose the reputed ones will have a good established network of retail sellers which can help sales significantly. A small time publisher may not have much of a network and may want you to take up marketing. If one wrote only for self satisfaction then maintaining a personal diary would suffice.
